Tumbleweed Communications Corp. (Tumbleweed or we) is a recognized expert in providing managed file transfer, email security, and identity validation products for enterprise and government customers of all sizes. We provide comprehensive solutions that enable organizations to safely and confidently conduct business over the Internet, protecting data in motion and at rest with intuitive, pragmatic solutions that promote collaboration, prevent data loss, and reduce the cost of doing business. On June 5, 2008, Tumbleweed entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger with Axway Inc., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Sopra Group SA. If the merger is consummated, Tumbleweed will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axway Inc., and each outstanding share of Tumbleweed will be converted into the right to receive $2.70 in cash without interest. On August 8, 2008, the stockholders of Tumbleweed approved the merger. However, consummation of the transaction remains subject to various closing conditions, including expiration of the review process under Exon-Florio. Our customers deploy our security products between their network and the Internet to effectively protect against inbound threats and outbound vulnerabilities, and to automatically encrypt and securely deliver data to third parties. Jim brings more than 20 years of high-technology and software sales experience to his role as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Prior to Tumbleweed, Cumella was Regional Vice President for AlphaBlox Corporation, winning their first customers, Pfizer and Deutsche Bank, and increasing bookings from under $2 million to over $20 million in less than two years. Before AlphaBlox, Jim served as an Area Director for Red Brick Systems, Inc., building the company's northeast sales organization while more than doubling overall revenue, leading to a successful IPO. Cumella also held various positions at Information Builders, Inc. (IBI), eventually becoming one of IBI's top revenue producing sales representatives. Jim holds a dual M.S. degree in Information Systems and Marketing from Fordham University.

Michael is responsible for developing overall strategy, direction and vision for Tumbleweed's Alliance Program (TAP) and channel organization around the world, and manages operations for the corporate inside sales group. Prior to joining ComnetiX in 2004, Mr. Scullion spent 12 years at Identix Incorporated, the largest fingerprinting biometric identification company in the United States, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Identix in 1990, Mr. Scullion served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President Finance of DataTrak, Inc. from 1986 to 1990, as Controller at Carl N. Swenson Co. Inc. from 1984 to 1986 and as Senior Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick from 1982 to 1984.
