Donnie Smith, who has been serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Tyson Foods, will now take on additional responsibility for warehousing, distribution and corporate purchasing, and is therefore being designated Group Vice President, Information Systems, Purchasing, and Distribution. Most of these functions were previously managed by James Lochner. Tyson Foods, Inc. [NYSE: TSN], founded in 1935 with headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas, is the world's largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef, and pork, the second-largest food company in the Fortune 500 and a member of the S&P 500. The company produces a wide variety of protein-based and prepared food products, which are marketed under the "Powered by Tyson " strategy. Barbara A. Tyson, 59, was a Vice President of the Company from 1988 until 2002. Ms. Tyson has been a member of the Board since 1988.

John Tyson, 55, is Chairman of the Board of the Company, having held his current title since May 2006. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 2001 until May 2006, as Chairman, President and CEO from 2000 to 2001, as Chairman from 1998 to 2000, and in other executive capacities prior to 1998. Mr. Tyson has been a member of the Board since 1984.

Kelly Hurt has been an avid hunter and fisherman for the past 32 years. His passion for the outdoors began as a small child while raccoon and squirrel hunting with his father. Those formative years were spent rambling through the hills and hollows of North Mississippi listening to old men talk about hounds and hunts that had long since past. By age ten, he was in charge of starting his father's Treeing Walker puppies on squirrels in preparation for night hunts. By age twelve, he had graduated to deer hunting and killed the first of many deer. Kelly moved away from home to Starkville, MS to attend Mississippi State University. In his seven years there, he managed to earn his B.S. (Geology) and Ph.D. (Forestry and Environmental Science) in between deer hunting and fishing the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge and the Tombigbee State Forest. He moved to Ada, Oklahoma in 1997 for a post-doctoral position with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Since that time, he has also worked as a Regional Environmental Manager for Tyson Foods, and most recently, for the Chickasaw Nation as the Chief Environmental, Health and Safety Officer of the Division of Commerce and the Executive Director of the American Water Institute, LLC. He currently serves as a board member on the Ada Water Resources Board, Citizens for the Protection of the Arbuckle Simpson Aquifer, Oklahoma Academy for State Goals, and Port of Oklahoma City. Kelly and his wife, Christina, have two children: Kelsey and Christopher.

Robin Crosier is the Complex Nurse Manager at Tyson Foods in Corydon. She has approximately 30 years experience as a Registered Nurse, having worked at Norton Healthcare for 20 years before relocating from Louisville to Harrison County 7 years ago. Robin manages the nursing staff at Tyson, conducts case management for worker compensation injuries and maintains the OSHA logs. She is a Certified Occupational Health Nurse and a Certified Case Manager. Robin joined the board of directors at Lifelong Learning in 2007. She lives with her husband David in Harrison County and has 3 adult children.

Director Walker has served on the Board since 1993. In addition to his duties as a Director, Mr. Walker serves on the Hope Street Committee. Mr. Walker is employed as a manager at Tyson Foods in Nashville.

Jay Smith a married, self proclaimed geek who loves technology, PC gaming, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar and spending time with his family. He is a Senior Programmer Analyst for Tyson Foods, Inc. where he designs and develops enterprise applications for the IS Manufacturing Team. Jay is also very involved with the .NET Development community. He is a founding member and currently serves as the President of the Northwest Arkansas .NET User Group, and a member of the Tulsa TechFest Commitee. You can find out more about Jay at his blog.

Kristen Hopkins Albertson is corporate counsel for Tyson Foods, Inc. in Springdale, Arkansas. Ms. Albertson manages a broad range of employment litigation and advises the company on employment issues. Prior to joining Tyson, Ms. Albertson was a litigation attorney in the law firm of Harrington, Miller, Neihouse and Kieklak, P.A. in Springdale, Arkansas, where she handled general business and commercial litigation and represented Arkansas municipalities in lawsuits brought in state and federal courts. Ms. Albertson is also a former Assistant Attorney General to the State of Illinois, where she served in the criminal appeals division in Chicago. As Assistant Attorney General, she represented the State of Illinois in appellate proceedings in the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Albertson received a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hendrix College in 1996. She is a member of the state bars of Illinois and Arkansas. Ms. Albertson is currently co-chair of the NAWL Legislation Committee.

Mr. Robert Dowell is the Account Executive for Tyson Foods and Schnuck's Deli. Robert joined Beaulieu Marketing July 2000 from Advantage Sales & Marketing where he was the Meat & Deli Director. Prior to coming to the St Louis market Robert was an Account/Regional Sales Manager for Tyson Foods Retail Division in the Minneapolis and Milwaukee Markets.

Don Tyson, 78, retired as Senior Chairman of the Board in 2001. He served as Senior Chairman from 1995 until 2001. Mr. Tyson has been a member of the Board since 1952.

Brad T. Sauer, 49, is executive vice president of 3M Health Care Business. He has been with 3M since 1981 and currently is responsible for the company's worldwide healthcare business. He served in a variety of other positions including executive vice president of the Electro Communications Business, president and managing director of 3M Korea and new business development director of the Commercial Graphics Division. Mr. Sauer has been a member of the Board since September 2008.

Jo Ann R. Smith, 69, is President of Smith Associates, an agricultural marketing business. Previously, Ms. Smith served as Assistant Secretary for Marketing and Inspection Services for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She is a former President of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and has chaired the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board. She was a director of IBP from 1993 to 2001. Ms. Smith has been a member of the Board since 2001.

Lloyd V. Hackley, 68, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lloyd V. Hackley and Associates, Inc., which provides programs for the development of ethics and character, and has served in that capacity since 1997. He served as the Interim Chancellor of Fayetteville (North Carolina) State University from July 2007 to June 2008. Dr. Hackley served as Interim Chancellor of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from June 2006 to July 2007. Dr. Hackley is also a director of Branch Banking and Trust Corporation, headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Hackley has been a member of the Board since 1992.

Robert C. Thurber, 61, is the former vice president of purchasing for Sysco Corporation and held various executive positions with Sysco from 1983 until he retired in 2007. He directed Sysco's entry into the fresh produce business and helped increase the company's fresh produce revenues from $14 million in 1983 to $3.5 billion in 2007. He helped facilitate numerous acquisitions of distribution, specialty meat and produce distribution companies. He also serves on the board of directors for Capstone Bancshares, Inc. of Tuscaloosa. Mr. Thurber has been a member of the Board since February 2009.
