As senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for UPS, Alan Gershenhorn directs electronic commerce, customer relationship management, customer service, sales, marketing research, pricing and product development. Gershenhorn has also served in several other significant leadership positions within the company. These include the UPS Corporate Strategy Group, where he was responsible for the company’s retail strategy and operations worldwide and the integration of Mail Boxes Etc. (now primarily recognized as The UPS Store); the president of UPS Canada; the president of UPS Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Global Transportation and Shared Services; and the president of UPS SCS operations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. As president of UPS International, Dan Brutto is responsible for all international package, freight forwarding and logistics businesses, as well as U.S. international package services. As chief operating officer for UPS, David Abney directs all operations worldwide and a sophisticated global transportation network. Prior to his current position, Abney led UPS's logistical and freight operations in Canada, Latin America and the United States. He later headed up the global operations of UPS's freight forwarding and customs brokerage operations. David Barnes is the senior vice president and chief information officer for UPS worldwide. Kurt Kuehn is the chief financial officer of UPS. He is responsible for all activities related to accounting, auditing, finance, financial planning, taxes and treasury. He also acts as a liaison to the finance, investor and analyst communities. Kuehn serves as a member of the UPS Management Committee, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. A native of South Bend, Ind., Kuehn attended Yale University and received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of the Wharton School of Business. Kuehn began his UPS career in 1977 as a delivery driver. As senior vice president of communications and brand management, Christine M. A year later, he was promoted to manager of the East Long Island District, then became manager of the West Long Island District two years later. McDevitt was assigned to the company's corporate office in 1996 to launch UPS's corporate compliance program. Later that year, he joined the labor relations department to work on union negotiations. In 2000, McDevitt was promoted to vice president of air operations. In addition to running the day-to-day air operation, McDevitt oversaw the development of Worldport, the air hub that became the largest expansion project in UPS history and the centerpiece of the company's global distribution network. In keeping with UPS’s long-standing commitment to the community, McDevitt served on The Library Foundation board in Louisville and the Board of the Partnership for Kentucky Schools. In April 2005, McDevitt was elected to Junior Achievement’s Worldwide Board of Directors.

Myron Gray is the senior vice president of U.S. operations. Carol B. Tomé has served as chief financial officer since May 2001 and was named executive vice president of corporate services at The Home Depot in January 2007. In November 2007, Carol was included in The Wall Street Journal’s list of 50 Women to Watch. Carol ranked No. 16 in Forbes magazine’s 2008 list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. Carol holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Denver.
