Erin McKean a contributing editor at Copy Editor. She's also the editor in chief of American dictionaries for Oxford University Press, and the editor of VERBATIM: The Language Quarterly. NPR's Neil Conan calls her "America's Lexicographical Sweetheart," and MSNBC.com calls her "the queen and rock star among lexicographers." She is the author of Weird and Wonderful Words, More Weird and Wonderful Words, Totally Weird and Wonderful Words, and the forthcoming That's Amore (also about words do we detect a theme here?). Erin lives in Chicago with her husband and young son. She rants about dresses on her blog A Dress A Day (www.dressaday.com), and is actually really bad at Scrabble. She likes to sew and rollerskate, but not at the same time. She also has a nifty collection of funky eyeglasses.

For the past six years, Jenn Guitart has helped to raise millions of dollars for a wide array of social service agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to fundraising, Jenn has facilitated collaborative efforts among nonprofit agencies, coordinated arts education programs, and taught creative writing, music, and theater. Her involvement in arts-related and youth-serving nonprofit organizations has given her the opportunity to work directly with inner-city children and youth, women prisoners, homeless young adults, and the disabled. Jenn holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from New York University and a BA in Latin American Studies from Brown University. Jenn enjoys writing fiction and poetry, and is a founding member of VERBATIM writing collective.
