Mark J. Miller is Vice President, Chief Technical Officer, and a co-founder of ViaSat Inc. Mr. Miller is a co-founder ViaSat Inc. and has helped lead the company's rapid growth. Jerry Goodwin is Vice President, Tactical Networking and Information Assurance for ViaSat Inc. Mr. Goodwin joined ViaSat in 1991. Hired as a senior software engineer, he has gone on to serve as program manager, networking and security products systems engineer, and ultimately group VP. This business area develops and produces two distinct product lines: tactical networking products and secure networking products. Mr. Goodwin's involvement in networking and security technologies began shortly after his arrival at ViaSat. He has led development of both tactical networking products and high assurance, secure network products, focusing on introduction of innovative networking and security products to support military and government applications. Mr. Agnew is responsible for the Broadband Systems group, which builds high-capacity satellite networking systems that bring economical and efficient broadband to fixed, airborne, and mobile customers. Prior to leading the Broadband group, Mr. Agnew served ViaSat in a number of roles after first joining the company in 1988. He led the Government Broadband group, was program director for development of ViaSat's Multifuntional Information Distribution System(MIDS) Link-16 low volume terminal (LVT) program, and led the team that developed Ka-band terminals and gateways for Astrolink, a proposed global broadband system that was one of the first to develop technology based on spot-beam, Ka-band satellites. As business area director for ViaSat Network Systems he provided strategy and vision for bringing networking products to market serving DoD customers, and co-authored Mil-Std-188-184, the data controller waveform adopted as the standard for packet data over UHF Satcom. Before joining ViaSat, Mr. Agnew worked for MA/COM Linkabit and Comsat Telesystems. During that time he was the project engineer on several US Navy sponsored small business innovative research (SBIR) programs focused on multi-user, multi-media communications, and a system engineer responsible for requirements verification, integration, and test on the Milstar UHF program. Mr. Agnew holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University and earned his MSEE at the University of California at Berkeley.

Phil Berry is Vice President for Military Satellite Communication at ViaSat Inc. Mr. Berry is currently leading our business area targeted at developing narrowband applications for mobile satellite communications. He has over 15 years experience in design, development and engineering management of commercial and military satellite communication systems. He has been instrumental in ViaSat becoming the leader in supplying UHF Satcom systems and products to the U.S. military, where the company has a 15-year history of market success. This success includes the design and development of modems, terminals, and test and training equipment. ViaSat has supplied nearly 20,000 modem modules used in "manpack" satellite communication terminals as well as airborne, ship, shore and mobile applications. Mr. Berry joined ViaSat when the company was in its formative stages and has been involved in every military SATCOM development in the history of the company. In the 11 years Mr. Berry has been with ViaSat, he not only helped build the company's military SATCOM capability, but was also instrumental in developing the company's first commercial VSAT technology. Jennifer Batty started her career working in International distribution for Great North International, Canada's leading factual Producer and Distributor. She has since worked at Alliance Atlantis International, known worldwide for their CSI franchise developing, co-financing, and selling factual programmes worldwide. She was also Director of Business Affairs and Acquisitions at Discovery Europe for a short time. Jennifer is currently Head of Programming for Pay TV at Viasat, responsible for the branded channels VExplorer, VHistory, VCrime and VNature programming strategy. These channels broadcast into 26 countries in 16 languages across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Viasat Broadcasting is part of MTG, Modern Times Group, an international media group with principal broadcasting businesses in Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Hungary and Russia. MTG is the largest Free to Air and Pay TV operator in the Nordic and Baltic regions and the largest commercial radio operator in Northern Europe. Viasat channels reach over 60 million people in 26 countries.

DR. JEFFREY M. NASH has been a director of ViaSat since 1987. From 1994 until 2003, he served as President of Digital Perceptions Inc., a privately-held consulting and software development firm serving the defense, remote sensing, communications, aviation and commercial computer industries. Since September 2003, he has been President and Chairman of Inclined Plane Inc., a privately-held consulting and intellectual property development company serving the defense, communications and media industries. In addition to his role at ViaSat, Dr. Nash serves as a director of two San Diego-based companies: Pepperball Technologies, Inc., a privately-held manufacturer of non-lethal personal defense equipment for law enforcement, security and personal defense applications and REMEC, Inc., which is now in dissolution.
