Andy then joined Multimedia Medical Education Ltd as CTO with a brief to create an online Continuing Medical Education (CME) portal for high end medical professionals. In discussions with Guidant Corporation Andy saw the opportunity for an on-line workflow driven web content management system and designed and ran the development team behind the 'Ticto' content management suite. With the development complete and the sales process begun Andy left Multimedia Medical in April 2002 to start his own business, consulting to Technology Start-ups. Here he worked for mixed fees and equity in the Video Compression, Wi-Fi and Mobile spaces Crossbow acquired the rights to 'Ticto' in early 2003. Andy was contacted by Crossbow Media to help in the design of the next version of the product. Andy came on board as CTO in July 2003 and moved into his current advisory role in 2005.
