Mathis has been called upon as a regular contributor to national television programs, including "Larry King Live," "Politically Incorrect" and CNN's "Talk Back Live," to discuss his opinions on issues of the day, including terrorism and national security, unique sentencing and Affirmative Action. Greg Mathis has quickly become a household name with a broad and loyal following. His growing popularity led to a featured role on The WB sitcom "The Steve Harvey Show" during the May 2001 sweeps in which he played himself. He has also had major media exposure, appearing on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," the "Today" morning show, "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," "The Other Half, "The Caroline Rhea Show," TNT's "Listen Up! Charles Barkley with Ernie Johnson" and "BET Tonight with Ed Gordon," while being featured in People magazine as well as national and local press across the country. When he is not on the bench, Mathis makes it a point to give back to the community and to those in need of guidance as he once was growing up on the streets of Detroit. In May 2002, Mathis hosted a Self-Empowerment Expo in Detroit designed to encourage individuals to develop and achieve worthy goals and to help prepare people for a more prosperous future. Based on the success of the first Expo, a second Self-Empowerment Expo is scheduled in Detroit for August 2003. The Expo offers speakers, workshops and multiple other resources offering family and business oriented guidance. Mathis has also hit the streets helping others by joining the fight for various causes drawing national attention as well as supporters. This year Mathis has been named the new spokesman for Literacy Volunteers of America in Detroit. Joining the fight against adult literacy in Detroit, Mathis will help raise awareness of the literacy problem and encourage people who need help. Mathis' commitment to his community and local fans was acknowledged in April 2002 when he was asked to throw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs vs. San Francisco Giants game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. The game was broadcast live on the show's Chicago affiliate. In June 2002, Mathis also threw out the first pitch in Comerica Park in Detroit, MI at a Detroit Tigers game, also televised on our Detroit affiliate. In addition to starring in his own television show, during the show's second season, Judge Mathis broke new ground when he took his show on the road and starred in the critically acclaimed stage production "Been There Done That" which played to sold out audiences in 29 cities and received national press attention. "Been There Done That" is a musical drama based on Mathis' life designed to inspire men and women to overcome life's obstacles. Along with Judge Mathis, the play featured gospel music icon Fred Hammond, Phyllis Yvonne Stickney and was written by Teresa Coleman-Wash. Playing a role parallel to his own life-story enabled Mathis another opportunity to help change lives. Mathis has also served as the host of "Judgement Call," a weekly radio show in which he answered legal questions from callers on Chicago radio station WGCI. On the first Monday of every month, Mathis also joined WGCI's morning drive host Howard McGee to co-host "Ask the Judge," a law related segment of the morning show. Mathis grew up in the housing projects of Detroit, and as a teenager was well on his way to a life of crime. But, as a promise to his dying mother, he vowed to change his ways. At age 18, he turned his life around earning his GED (high school equivalency), continuing on to college and earning a jurist doctorate degree. Despite tremendous obstacles and odds, Mathis became the youngest judge in Michigan's history and was elected a Superior Court Judge for Michigan's 36th District.

One of the most respected newsmagazine producers in the country, Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey serves as Telepictures Productions' Senior Executive Producer overseeing the nationally syndicated newsmagazine, "Extra." Additionally, she spearheads the creation and development of reality-based programs. Under her leadership, "Extra" has earned a reputation as the industry leader in entertainment news, delivering comprehensive, innovative coverage on the personalities and trends important to the entertainment industry, and compelling to viewers
Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Southern California, Mark McGrath joined "Extra" two seasons ago as the show's co-host. McGrath first appeared with his band, Sugar Ray (then known as the Shrinky Dinx), in 1992. Two years later, the band landed a deal with Atlantic Records. Shortly after, in 1997, the band's collaboration with reggae artist Super Cat resulted in the song "Fly," which dominated the airwaves. Later that year, and following the success of their number-one hit, Sugar Ray released its second album, "Floored," which went double platinum. Sugar Ray's success rocketed McGrath to pop-star status, as he graced the covers of "Rolling Stone" and "Spin." He has even made "People" magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue twice, named "Sexiest Rocker" in 1998 and "Sexiest Co-Host" in 2004.
Veteran syndicated television producer, Theresa Coffino, has spent the past six years at "Extra." She was named the show's Executive Producer in 2002 and previously held Co-Executive Producer and Supervising Producer credits on the series. Prior to joining "Extra," Coffino worked in a variety of capacities during 10 years at Paramount Syndicated Television, producing stories for the newsmagazines "Hard Copy" and "A Current Affair." While at Paramount, Coffino garnered national media attention for her coverage on high-profile cases including Michael Jackson, the trials of OJ Simpson and William Kennedy Smith. Coffino began her career in New York where she worked for Lifetime Television as a Senior Producer on the series "Attitudes" with Linda Dano and Nancy Glass. Coffino later worked for Fox, where she developed, produced and helped to create "Good Day New York," which became the prototype for Fox morning programs throughout the United States. Coffino attended Fordham University in New York and is a member of the DGA and the WGA.
