Patrick (Pat) DeRueda is president of Waste Management Recycle America (WMRA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Waste Management, Inc. He joined Waste Management in 2001. Most recently, he was market area general manager for WM’s New Mexico market and led it to top performance levels in the company. Prior to joining WM, DeRueda worked with Browning-Ferris Industries for 14 years.

The President of Waste Management of Hawai'i, Stanley Hong has applied his Business and Law degrees to a long and varied list of corporate, non-profit and governmental organizations. Stanley's community and professional involvement includes the King William Charles Lunalilo Trust Estate, the Hawai'i Tax Free Trust, the Nature Conservancy of Hawai'i, the PBS Hawai'i Foundation, the Katuro Watanabe Charitable Foundation, and the Honolulu Festival Foundation. Mr. Hong was welcomed to the Child and Family Service Board of Directors in 2004 and currently is Chair of the Board Governance Committee.

Dr. Hoffman graduated from Mt. Sinai Medical School, trained in Internal Medicine at Brown University, was a Dana Fellow in Environmental Health at Yale School of Medicine, and received a Master?s degree in Public Health at Yale University. He is Board Certified in Internal and Occupational Medicine. Dr. Hoffman has published widely and holds academic appointments and affiliations at the University of Texas School of Public Health, University of New Hampshire, Dartmouth Medical School, and Lahey Clinic. He has worked in occupational and environmental health throughout the entire world including Bangkok and Cambodia. Lynn Caddell is senior vice president and chief information officer for Waste Management. She has lead responsibility for the company's information technology functions. Prior to joining WM, Caddell was president of Yellow Technologies, and before that position she directed systems development for America West Airlines. She also held engineering management positions at Motorola, Inc. and served as an engineer at International Business Machines, Inc.

Rick Wittenbraker is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Waste Management and has primary responsibility for the management of all legal matters relating to the Company and its operating subsidiaries. He directs the Company's legal staff at its corporate headquarters and in its North American operating units. He also has senior responsibility for the supervision and management of the Company's outside legal counsel and the Company's legal compliance program. Wittenbraker joined Waste Management from the Houston office of Bracewell & Patterson, L.L.P. where he was a partner and led the firm's business practice group.

Robert (Bob) Simpson is chief financial officer for Waste Management and is responsible for the company's accounting, business improvement, internal audit, investor relations, tax, treasury, risk management, and profit and budget analysis functions. Prior to being elected CFO in March 2004, Simpson was Waste Management's senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Prior to that assignment, he was vice president of taxation for Waste Management. Before joining WM, Simpson held the positions of vice president and general manager of Tenneco Business Services and vice president of tax. Previously, he was director of federal taxes for Phillip Morris with the Kraft General Foods Division.

Barry Caldwell is Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Corporate Communications for Waste Management. Caldwell is responsible for leading the Company's government affairs, corporate communications and community relations programs and activities. Prior to joining WM, Caldwell was Vice President, Government Relations for CIGNA Corporation. Previously, he was Vice President, Federal Affairs for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and Chief of Staff to US Senator Arlen Specter.

Charles (Chuck) Williams is Senior Vice President of Operations for Waste Management and has overall responsibility for corporate operations, which include fleet, procurement, engineering and compliance, safety, closed sites management, and operations planning and logistics. Prior to joining WM, Williams was Vice President of Engineering/Compliance for Sanifill, Inc. Previously, Williams was a Principal and Executive Vice President of a Houston area consulting firm.

David (Dave) Aardsma is Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Waste Management and is responsible for leading the Company's Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Service, and National Accounts strategies. Prior to being selected Sr. VP Sales & Marketing, Aardsma held the position of Vice President of Sales for the Company and was responsible for the rollout of the Sales Force Effectiveness Program. Prior to that assignment Aardsma was the Vice President of Sales for the 10 state Western Group for Waste Management and has over 25 years of experience working with the sales and operations in the Western, Mountain, and Mideast Regions of the company.

David (Dave) Hopkins is the Senior Vice President of the Southern Group and has the overall responsibility for all operations including collection, disposal, recycling and landfills in the Southern Group. including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Prior to joining WM, Hopkins was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc.

Duane Woods is the Senior Vice President of the Western Group and has the overall responsibility for all operations including collection, disposal, recycling and landfills. Previously, Woods was Vice President and General Counsel for the Western Group and has more than 22 years of environmental and regulatory experience in all aspects of the waste industry. Prior to joining WM, Woods was a partner at the firm of Heller, Erhman White & McAuliffe and Summit Law Group. He also held positions in local and state policy and management for the City of Seattle and served as assistant secretary for the State of Washington.

James (Jim) Trevathan is the senior vice president of the Southern Group and has the overall responsibility for all operations including collection, disposal, recycling and landfills in the Southern Group, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Previously, Trevathan served as senior vice president of the Eastern Group and prior to that he was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Waste Management and was responsible for sales and marketing initiatives. Prior to joining WM, Trevathan held sales and marketing positions with the Stauffer Chemical Company.

James (Jim) Schultz is responsible for leading Waste Management s push toward developing a highly engaged workforce that provides world-class service to customers through full integration of all departments. Previously, Schultz was Vice President Health & Safety for Waste Management.

Jeff Harris is the Senior Vice President of the Midwest Group and has the overall responsibility for all operations including collection, disposal, recycling and landfills. Previously, Harris was Area Vice President in charge of the Michigan, SW Ontario and Greater Toronto Market Areas. He has spent his entire career in this industry and has more than 28 years of experience to this position. Prior to joining WM in 1999, he worked 17 years with Browning Ferris Industries, Inc. and served 4 years with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

Cherie Rice is Vice President, Finance & Treasurer for Waste Management. Rice has been with Waste Management since November 1985, and has been in her current role since January 2004. During her 20-year career with the company, she worked her way up through the field operations' finance and accounting ranks, spending several years in field financial positions. Prior to joining Waste Management, Ms. Rice worked for Tektronix, Inc. as a financial analyst.

Denis Goulet is responsible for all market planning and business development initiatives for Waste Management of Canada. During his tenure with WM Denis has held several leadership positions within the company as well as with Laidlaw Waste Systems Inc. prior to its acquisition by Waste Management. Denis has been working in the waste management industry for 13years.

Don Wright is responsible for the legal affairs of Waste Management of Canada. Wright joined Waste Management in 2000 from Torys, a Toronto law firm. Prior to which, he was an Associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon, another Toronto law firm.

John Horan brings an extensive experience in financial control and analysis to Waste Management of Canada. During his tenure with the company, he has held several financial leadership positions within the company as well as Laidlaw Waste Systems prior to its acquisition by Waste Management in 1997. He has been in the waste management industry for nearly 13 years.

Paul Keane is responsible for Human Resources in Canada. He joined the company in 2001 and brings to Waste Management extensive senior level human resources management experience from the retail, pharmaceutical and specialty chemical industries.

Kevin Cinq-Mars is responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives in Canada. Prior to joining Waste Management of Canada, Cinq-Mars held several senior sales and general management positions with Laidlaw Waste Systems. Previously Cinq-Mars owned and operated a confidential shredding and recycling business in Toronto and Southwest Ontario. He has been in the waste management industry for nearly 13 years.

Jerry Muelaner has served his rural community as a dedicated School Trustee and Board Chair with the Foothills School Division during the past seven years. Currently, he is a Councilor and Member-at-Large with the Kananaskis Improvement District which is based on a hybrid governance system where its members are represented on a broad range of regional boards and committees. It relies on a network of partnerships with other government departments to deliver municipal services. Mr. Muelaner has been a longstanding supporter of public education. He served as a Board member of the Alberta School Board Association where he collaborated with school superintendents and school business officials on the Alberta School Benefit Plan and the Supplemental Integrated Pension Plan. He was also the founding Chair of the Alberta School Boards Insurance Exchange. Mr. Muelaner is a former director of the Michener Centre Facility Board. Charissa McAfee joined Waste Management in 2006 in the newly created position of Manager of Customer Experience for the San Diego/Orange County Market Area. In this role, she works to ensure that employees are engaged in providing exceptional service to the company's customers. She also manages Waste Management's Service Machine program, which consists of processes and standards that help the company's local operations deliver a high level of service to its customers. In addition, Charissa performs community and municipal relations activities for the company in San Diego County.

Chrystal has worked for Waste Management since 1993, when she joined the company as an accounting clerk. In 1997, she became the Contract Compliance Coordinator for Waste Management of Orange County, later becoming Contract Compliance Manager. In this role, Chrystal works with local municipalities to ensure compliance with the California Integrated Waste Management Act, or Assembly Bill 939, the state law that requires each urisdiction in California to divert at least 50 percent of its waste away from landfills, whether through waste reduction, recycling or other means. She tracks monthly waste and recycling figures, and works with local officials to introduce new programs as necessary related to waste reduction or recycling. Chrystal's primary responsibility is for city, county and state reporting on AB 939 diversion and compliance. She also assists our cities with source reduction and recycling element (SRRE) preparation, as well as new "base year" revisions. Chrystal is Vice Chair for Community Relations for the Orange Chamber of Commerce. She has a degree in accounting from Irvine Valley College.

Dan Drewek demonstrates his commitment to outstanding service on a daily basis in his combined role as Transfer Station Manager, Navy Route Manager and Quality Control Manager. Dan joined Waste Management in 1993 as a driver, and become a Route Manager in 1995. He has twice been named Waste Management Supervisor of the Year and is licensed as a Class A Driver Instructor. While Dan's many productivity, quality control and safety responsibilities keep him busy, he still makes time to give students tours of the transfer station in El Cajon, hosting an average of 2,000 students each year. Dan resides in Lakeside with his wife, Betty, three children and their horse. Spending as much time as possible outdoors, Dan enjoys horses, camping, gardening, hunting and fishing, mountain biking and tinkering with old tractors. Public Sector Services Manager for the Los Angeles/Riverside Market Area, Donna De Bie has worked in the solid waste industry for seventeen years. Donna started with Western Waste in 1988, working in sales. Donna is very involved with local organizations, including area Chambers of Commerce and Service Clubs. Donna is currently the President of the Chino Kiwanis Club, a member of the Chino Valley Chamber Board of Directors and a Past President of the Chino Chamber as well as a Past President of the Sun City/Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce. She also finds time to be a member of the Grand Terrace Womens Club and Chino Valley Soroptimist Club where she is past President. Before working at Waste Management, Donna was co-owner of a sub-contracting glass and glazing company. When not working at Waste Management, Donna can be found boating at Lake Havasu, or playing proud grandma to her brand new granddaughter.

Site Manager James Pledger manages Waste Management Blue Barrel's fleet of 40 trucks. James, an eight-year Waste Management employee, recently joined Santa Clarita from Sun Valley, where he was Route Manager. James grew up in San Fernando Valley and went to Madera High School. He lives in Santa Clarita with his wife and two school-aged children. When he isn't at work, you can often find James at the football field, where he is involved in coaching flag football I9 Sports teams.

Jennifer Sweeney is an Industrial Account Manager with Waste Management. Jennifer works on the landfill and disposal side of Waste Management specializing in hazardous waste, non-regulated industrial/special waste, and contaminated soil disposal. Jennifer is a Jacksonville University graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science/Chemistry. She has over 12 years of experience in the environmental industry and is a Master Level Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

A member of the WMOC sales team since August 2005, Jeremiah previously worked in sales in the technology industry. He has worked with companies including Ingram Micro, the world's largest technology distributor, and Ricoh, a diversified office automation equipment and electronics provider. At Waste Management, Jeremiah works with customers in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and the open area of Irvine, helping to assess and fulfill their waste and recycling needs. Les Hart has held many positions with Waste Management during the past 17 years, including Field Representative, Municipal Liaison, Commercial Route Supervisor, Recycle Route Supervisor, Recycling Manager, Site Manager and Major Account Representative. Currently, as the Market Area Retention Manager, Les administers municipal, government, property management and commercial contracts. Les has been involved in many community service organizations over the years. He is currently a past chair of the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, and is the past chair of the Legislative Action Committee and current co-chair of the Leadership East County Steering Committee. Les is also twice past president of Stoney's Kids and Board Member Emeritus for the Olaf Wieghorst Museum Foundation. He is the past chair of the Advisory Board for the El Cajon Downtown Redevelopment Corp. Les has served as president of the El Cajon Chamber of Commerce, treasurer for CASA and sat on the County of San Diego Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board. He has also been involved with the Mother Goose Parade, the Holiday Bowl Parade, the Lakeside Western Days Parade, the Magnolia Festival, the Santee Business Expo, the East County Business Expo and the La Mesa Oktoberfest. He was recognized as the El Cajon Citizen of the Year for 1999. Michelle has 12 years of experience working in the solid waste industry, serving as the community relations manager for several waste companies. She has worked in this capacity at Waste Management of Orange County since 1999. In this role, Michelle provides tours of Waste Management's local facilities, speaks to school groups, customers and homeowners associations about waste disposal and recycling and is involved with a number of local community groups. She also works with the personnel of local cities served by the company on their waste and recycling programs. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce. Michelle has a B.S. in public administration from Calvin College.

What started out as a summer job back in 1972 while taking a break from attending classes at San Diego State University, turned into a life long career for Phil Smith at Waste Management. He is the Compliance Manager at WM of San Diego and has more than 33 years of environmental, safety and regulatory experience in all aspects of the waste industry. His daily interaction with the District Manager, the route managers, the drivers and maintenance personnel helps assure that the daily requirements necessary to ensure safety, reliability and overall compliance are met.

Rick joined Waste Management in 2002 and became Market Area Sales Manager for the San Diego/Orange County Market Area in 2005. Previously, he served in the same position for Los Angeles. Prior to joining Waste Management, Rick was with SBC/Pacific Bell for 28 years in an operations and sales capacity in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. Rick has a wide range of experience and knowledge in both operations and sales, and is well-versed in the regulatory environment in California. Sarah Huoh joined Waste Management's San Diego/Orange County Market Area in 2005, to administer the public relations, media relations and communications activities for the company in this region. Previously, she was the media relations representative for the USC Health Sciences Campus, and a senior account executive at Weber Shandwick, the world's leading public relations agency. In this role, she worked with clients including Waste Management, Sempra Energy, Mattel, Baxter BioSciences, the Los Angeles Police Protective League and many others on strategic communications and writing projects. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in public relations and a minor in business administration from the University of Southern California.

As the Director of Operations for the Inland Empire, Steve is responsible for Waste Management's business in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Prior to his current role, Steve was a District Manager for multiple operations in Los Angeles County. Steve has also spent time working for our Corporate and Western Group offices where he was responsible for the development and implementation of programs and processes related to operational excellence. Before his career with Waste Management, Steve worked at United Parcel Service for thirteen years as a part time employee, driver and operations manager. Steve earned his Bachelor degree in Purchasing & Logistics Management from Arizona State University. When not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Steve and his wife are involved with their children's various sports and school activities and value the importance of raising their three children together.

As District Manager in Santa Ana, Tom works with the 158 drivers across three lines of business, mechanics, customer service representatives and support staff to provide waste and recycling services to Costa Mesa, La Habra, Orange, Santa Ana and other portions of Orange County. Tom has been a District Manager with Waste Management since 2003, serving in this capacity in both Irvine and Santa Ana. He has worked in the solid waste industry for 15 years, previously as an operations manager. He has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA in technology management from University of Phoenix.

Mr. Skidmore is Northeast Ohio Senior District Manager of Waste Management and has held progressively responsible positions with Waste Management and a predecessor company since 1978. He previously served on the Board of Directors of both First County Bank in Chardon and of Metropolitan National Bank in Youngstown. He is a member and was the past President of the Chardon Rotary, a former President of the Chardon Chamber of Commerce, a former member of the business advisory committee of Kent State University (Geauga), and a past representative to the board of the National Solid Waste Management Association in Washington, D. C.

Brett Frazier is the senior vice president of the Eastern Group and has the overall responsibility for all operations including collection, disposal, recycling and landfills. Frazier has also held positions as vice president of collections operations support, vice president of business improvement processes, and as a market area general manager for the Houston metro area. Before joining WM, Frazier was a vice president at Browning-Ferris Industries.

Joe Romero joined Waste Management of Orange County in May of 2006, as the Outside Sales Representative for the company's transfer stations in Orange and Irvine. As part of the Waste Management sales team, Joe works with local haulers and self-haulers to educate them on their disposal options at the company's transfer stations and also address their needs as related to disposal and recycling. He is also instrumental in developing strategies to increase the recyclable volume at the transfer stations. Previously, he was the Account Manager for Athens Disposal Services in Riverside. In this role, he worked with customers on a daily basis, in addition to creating promotional strategies and planning initiatives. Prior to this position, he served as the Sales Manager for Toyota and as a Sales/Service Training Coordinator for the Cintas Corporation. Joe attended Santa Monica Community College, studying general avionics. He also was a member of the United States Navy for four years, participating in assignments related to aircraft airframes and fuel systems. Karrie has been with WMOC for five years, spending two years as an Account Executive for permanent commercial business and three years as an Account Executive for temporary construction services. Rev. Joe Joe has been Assistant Pastor at Bolingbrook Community Church since its inception in March, 2003. He also serves as the Ministry Leader of Outreach. Rev. Joe Joe previously served as Youth Pastor at Shiloh Baptist Church in Joliet for 10 years under the Pastorate of Pastor Richard D. House in Lockport, Illinois. He is currently a Computer Network Professional for KinderMorgan a Waste Management Corporation.

Pedro was recognized on Feb. 23, 2006, by the City of Mission Viejo at the Mission Viejo Annual Breakfast Outlook 2006 for his outstanding work as a residential driver and service provider in the city. Pedro has worked for Waste Management, covering all lines of business, for 10 years. His family and managers joined him in celebrating this wonderful achievement. As grant administrator for Waste Management of Orange County, Silvia provides monies from programs established by the California Integrated Waste Management Board and the Department of Conservation to local organizations to administer waste reduction or diversion and recycling programs. She is also the coordinator of the local used motor oil recycling program, which recycles approximately 11,000 gallons of used oil and about 5,000 filters per year through used oil collection programs, and household hazardous waste collection efforts. Silvia works with local cities and community groups on the coordination of recycling programs and community events. Silvia began her work in the waste industry in 1989 as program director for "I Love a Clean San Diego," an organization dedicated to educating the community about conserving and enhancing the environment.

Patrick A. Gross, founder of American Management Systems, and more recently, the Lovell Group. Pat serves on the Board of Directors of Capital One, Waste Management, Taleo Corporation, Liquidity Services, and several smaller companies in which he has invested in the last several years. Pat also serves on the Board of Directors of the Aspen Institute.

Mr. Rothmeier is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Mr. Rothmeier founded Great Northern Capital, a private investment and merchant banking firm in March 1993, after serving as president of a Twin Cities venture capital and merchant banking firm. Previously, he was chairman of the board and chief executive officer of NWA Inc. and Northwest Airlines Inc. Mr. Rothmeier is a director of ArvinMeritor Inc., GenCorp Inc., Precision Castparts Corp., and Waste Management Inc. Mr. Rothmeier is a trustee of the University of Chicago, a member of the Council on the Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago, chairman of the St. Agnes Foundation and The Lumen Christi Institute, director of the American Council on Germany, a trustee for the German Marshall Fund of the United States, an advisor to the Metropolitan Economic Development Association of the Twin Cities, a minority business advisory group, and former vice chairman of the U.S. - China Business Council.

Thomas I. Morgan, age 54, served as chief executive officer of Hughes Supply, Inc. ( Hughes ), a diversified wholesale distributor of construction, repair and maintenance-related products, from May 2003 until his retirement in March 2006. Mr. Morgan also served as president of Hughes from March 2001 through April 2003. He is also a director of Rayonier, Inc., Waste Management, Inc. and Tech Data Corporation. Mr. Morgan has been a Director of ours since May 2006.
