Clorox manufactures and markets consumer products. Co.'s products are sold within the U.S. to mass merchandisers, warehouse clubs, dollar, military and other types of retail stores primarily through a direct sales force, and to grocery stores and grocery wholesalers through a combination of direct sales teams and a network of brokers. Outside the U.S., Co. sells products to the retail trade through subsidiaries, licensees, distributors and joint-venture arrangements with local partners. Co. manufactures products in more than 15 countries and markets them in more than 100 countries. Co. operates through two operating segments: North America and International.
