Gary T. DiCamillo was elected a director of Whirlpool Corporation in April 1997. He is chairman of the finance committee and a member of the audit committee of the board of directors. Gary T. DiCamillo is President and Chief Executive Officer of Radia International, a group of privately held technical, professional and commercial staffing companies based in Dedham, Massachusetts. In this position since May, 2007, Mr. DiCamillo oversees seven staffing companies in the United States and Europe with revenues of over $1.6 Billion. Prior to being named to this position, Mr. DiCamillo was President and Chief Executive Officer of American Crystal, the predecessor company of Radia International, since September, 2005. Before that, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of TAC Worldwide Companies which was acquired by American Crystal, since mid 2002. Previously, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at the Polaroid Corporation for nearly seven years. He also has served as President of Worldwide Power Tools and Accessories at Black & Decker Corporation and VP/General Manager for Culligan U.S.A., a division of Beatrice Corporation. He began his career in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble Co., followed by several years as a manager at McKinsey & Company. Mr. DiCamillo is a board member of the Whirlpool Corporation, 3Com Corporation and The Sheridan Group, Inc. He serves on the boards of trustees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Museum of Science in Boston and the Massachusetts Business Roundtable. Mr. DiCamillo is a 1975 graduate of Harvard Business School where he earned an MBA. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

He was named senior vice president Operations Whirlpool Europe in September, 2008. Darrell joins Whirlpool Europe with vast general management and marketing experience in consumer durables, including appliances and consumer packaged goods. He was president of Braun, a Procter and Gamble division, based in Germany and served as a general manager of General Electric’s major appliance business. He also held positions of increasing responsibility in Procter and Gamble, Pepsi and Arthur Andersen. Darrell holds an MBA from Harvard business school, and is a certified Six Sigma leader.

Paulo Periquito was named president of Whirlpool International on June 5, 2007 and is responsible for Latin America, Europe and Asia regions. He joined Whirlpool in 1996. The following year, he was promoted to the position of executive vice president and president, Latin America. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Periquito held several positions with Alcoa Aluma S.A., a Latin American subsidiary of Aluminum Company of America for more than 20 years. At Alcoa, he held several leadership positions in information technology, procurement, logistics, human resources, total quality, strategic planning, finance and administration. He also held general manager and vice president positions of several business units and led the creation of a retailing company for Home Building Products. In 1989, he was named Alcoa chief financial officer for Latin America and was also elected member of the Alcoa board of directors in Mexico. From 1991 to 1993, he assumed responsibility as chief executive officer of Grupo Aluma (an Alcoa subsidiary in Mexico). In 1994, Periquito was named executive vice president (responsible for all operations) and member of the board for Alcoa in Latin America. Currently, Periquito is also a member of the Advisory Board for ABN-AMRO Bank in Brazil. A native of Recife in Pernambuco, Brazil, Periquito holds a degree in mechanical engineering.

Roy W. Templin was named executive vice president and chief financial officer, as well a member of the Whirlpool Executive Committee, effective September 2004. Prior to joining Whirlpool Corporation in July 2003 as corporate vice president and controller, Templin was vice president of finance and chief accounting officer for Kimball International, Inc. He also held the positions of vice president, corporate controller and assistant corporate controller. Before joining Kimball, Templin worked for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, Indiana, and held numerous leadership positions, including director corporate accounting and director of corporate finance. Earlier in his career, Templin held positions at NCR Corporation in Dayton, Ohio, and Price Waterhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Templin holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.

Prior to joining the company, Szczupak served as chief operating officer of Dura Automotive Systems in Rochester Hills, Michigan, a $2-billion international automotive supplier. While at Dura, he provided strategic direction for product development, purchasing, manufacturing and product quality. Before joining Dura in 2006, he worked for Ford Motor Company for 22 years, where he held a variety of leadership roles. While at Ford, Szczupak led a transformation of Ford's automatic transmissions to world-class status and a rationalization effort for Ford's global engine and transmission lineups. He also spearheaded an initiative to improve quality, achieving a 22 percent improvement in overall quality metrics while driving lean world-class competitiveness. Szczupak also worked for Jaguar Cars for five years before it was acquired by Ford in 1990. Szczupak has a master's degree in automotive engineering from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.

Jose Drummond became executive vice president, Whirlpool Corporation, and president, Whirlpool Latin America, in September 2008. Previously, he was president, Whirlpool Latin America Home Appliances. Drummond joined Whirlpool in 1999 as director, Procurement, Whirlpool Latin America, and held a number of managerial positions, including vice president, Sales, Whirlpool Latin America, and vice president, Supply Chain, Whirlpool Europe. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Drummond worked for Alcoa Aluminio and Accenture. A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Drummond holds a bachelor's degree in industrial and metallurgy from FEI, Industrial Engineering College (São Bernardo do Campo-SP, Brazil) and has participated in the Executive Development Program at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Marc Bitzer was named president, U.S. Operations, effective January 2009. Prior to this assignment, he served as president, Whirlpool Europe, beginning in January, 2006. Bitzer joined Whirlpool Europe in 1999 as vice president, Baucknecht brand group and subsequently became senior vice president, marketing and sales. Before joining Whirlpool Europe, Bitzer worked since 1991 for the Boston Consulting Group in Munich and Toronto, and was named vice president in 1999. Bitzer earned both his MBA and doctorate from the St. Gallen Graduate School of Business, Economics and Law in Switzerland.

Daniel F. Hopp was named senior vice president, Corporate Affairs, and general counsel in March 1998. In April 2007 he assumed the additional responsibilities of secretary of the corporation. Hopp joined the company as an attorney in 1979. He was promoted to assistant secretary and legal counsel in April 1984 and to corporate secretary and assistant general counsel in October 1985. He was elected corporate vice president, general counsel and secretary in June 1989. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Hopp practiced law with the firm of Mayer, Brown and Platt in Chicago. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Hopp earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1969 and a juris doctor degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1973, where he graduated summa cum laude. He serves on the board of directors of Horizon Bank of Michigan City, Indiana; Cornerstone Alliance in Benton Harbor, Michigan; and is Chairman of the Board for Lakeland Healthcare in St. Joseph, Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan, Illinois and Berrien County Bar Associations and is a past president of the Chicago Chapter of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries. He formerly served on the Justice Initiatives Committee of the State Bar of Michigan, the St. Joseph City Planning Commission and on the board of the Council for World Class Communities.

Ms. Brown joined Perrigo in 2004 as Vice President and Corporate Controller, following 15 years experience at Whirlpool Corporation and Ernst & Young. She was appointed to her current position in 2006.

Carol Bosler, Alto Section Leader, earned her undergraduate degree in mathematics and secondary education from Western Michigan University. Currently, she is a People Development Manager for Whirlpool Corporation, where she has been employed for 13 years. She is involved in various other musical endeavors with her flute and vocals, performing at local venues and events in the area. Carol has two grown sons and resides with her husband in Niles, Mich., where she enjoys home decorating, gardening and many arts and crafts. This is her 18th season with SBCS.

Annette Weston is the News Director for the Midwest Family Radio Stations in St. Joseph and Benton Harbor and co-anchors the morning news for Moody in the Morning on NewsTalk 1400, WSJM. Annette's a local, grew up just up the road in Lawrence, with fond memories of heading to Benton Harbor to "go to the show" and stop at Howard Johnson's for a double-chocolate soda. She's been married for nearly 15 years to another hometown boy, and Mike is an Engineer for Whirlpool Corporation. They have 4 (yes, I really said 4!) kids between the ages of 9 and 14, a boy and three girls. Outside of work, she loves to read, write fiction, attend kids' sporting events (okay, maybe likes is a bit strong), read, anything to do with the water, and read. TV --CSI, anything true crime like Forensic Files or Cold Case Files, college football (Go Wolverines!), and anyone and everyone memorialized on A & E's Biography.

Jeff M. Fettig became Whirlpool Corporation's chairman and chief executive officer, effective January 2006. Previously, he was elected to the position of chairman, president and chief executive officer in July 2004. He served as president and chief operating officer, and was elected to the Whirlpool board of directors, from June 1999. Fettig joined Whirlpool in 1981 as an operations associate. He held a number of managerial positions in operations, sales, planning and product development before being promoted to vice president, marketing, KitchenAid Appliance Group in July 1989. In October 1990, he was named vice president, marketing, for the Philips Whirlpool Appliance Group of Whirlpool Europe B.V., the company's European subsidiary, and was named vice president, group marketing and sales, North American Appliance Group, in October 1992. In 1994 he was named an executive vice president of Whirlpool and president, Whirlpool Europe and Asia. A native of Tipton, Ind., Fettig holds a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's of business administration degree from Indiana University.

Born in Chicago, raised in Indianapolis, Michael Schmid has been involved in theatre for nearly two decades. Upon obtaining a Bachelors degree in Theatre & Drama from Indiana University in 1999, he moved to Austin, TX to gain experience working in their ever-thriving independent film community. It was there where, along with his co-founder Chad Foor, 4Lizard Productions was born. After work in over fifteen films, both acting and crew, Michael ventured back to Chicago where he currently resides with his wife Niye in hopes to pursue more theatre work and test the waters of the Chicago Indy film market. Michael currently works a day job as a sales rep for Whirlpool Corporation, but hopes to leave that behind soon when 4Lizard Productions begins to run wild all over the windy city!

Michel works as Senior Trademark Counsel for Whirlpool Corporation. She has been an active Brookview parent for five years and a board member for 4 years. Michel served as President of the Board for three years. In her free time she enjoys traveling, boating and photography.

Raj Jain is the regional head of Marketing & Product Delivery for Whirlpool Corporation for the Asia and Pacific region and is based at Shanghai. Before moving to Shanghai, Raj headed Whirlpool's Indian operations, where he created India as a hub for products and a technology center for Whirlpool's worldwide operations, introduced world-class Air-conditioners/ Microwaves and maintained leadership in the appliances market. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Raj held a variety of senior management positions at Unilever plc in sales, marketing and manufacturing operations. Raj holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from University of Delhi and has attended several senior management programs at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Kathleen J. Hempel was elected a director of Whirlpool Corporation in June 1994. She is a member of the corporate governance & nominating committee and the finance committee of the board of directors. Hempel is the former vice chairman and chief financial officer of Fort Howard Corporation. Hempel joined Fort Howard in 1973 and served as vice president – human resources, executive vice president, and senior executive vice president prior to the 1997 merger with James River Corp. to form Fort James Corporation. She had been a member of Fort Howard's board of directors since 1979 until the 1997 merger. Hempel graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She earned her MBA from Arizona State University in Tempe in 1984. Hempel currently is a member of the board of directors of Oshkosh Truck Corporation. Hempel served a gubernatorial appointment to the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents, is a past member of the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers, and is a past member of the American Forest and Paper Association's Tissue Division Board.

ARNOLD G. LANGBO, age 71, retired in 2000 as Chairman of Kellogg Company, Battle Creek, Michigan, a producer of cereal and convenience foods. He held that position from January 1992 and also served as Chief Executive Officer from January 1992 until May 1999. He is a director of Johnson & Johnson, Whirlpool Corporation and Weyerhaeuser Company. A Hershey director since 2007, he chairs the Compensation and Executive Organization Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. He was elected by the holders of the Common Stock voting separately as a class.

Herman Cain has served as a director of Whirlpool Corporation since 1992. He is a member of the finance committee and the human resources committee of the board of directors. Cain is the CEO and President of THE New Voice, Inc., a business and leadership consulting company, specializing in keynote speaking and inspirational publications. He is past Chairman of the board of Godfather's Pizza, Inc., and past Chairman, CEO and president of the National Restaurant Association (food service industry). He was employed at The Pillsbury Company from 1977 until 1988. During his tenure, he held various positions, including vice president of corporate systems and services and regional vice president of Burger King in Philadelphia. In 1986, Cain was appointed president of Godfather's Pizza, Inc., then a Pillsbury subsidiary. In 1988 Cain successfully led a group of Godfather's Pizza senior management in negotiating the purchase of the pizza chain from Pillsbury where he served as CEO and president for ten years. Prior to joining Pillsbury, Cain also was employed by the Department of the U.S. Navy and Coca-Cola. He is also a member of the National Commission on Economic Growth and Tax Reform, chaired by former Republican Vice-presidential candidate, Jack Kemp.

Rick Perrotta is CEO of Rubicon Technology Group and specializes in the strategic development, implementation, and management of global IT/telecommunications networks, applications, and enterprise solutions. Mr. Perrotta is also currently a Director with Whirlpool Corporation with theA Global Information Systems organization, assigned as the Director of Customer & Consumer Chain Solutions responsible for deployment of enterpriseA solutions within the Sales, Trade Partner Management (B2B), Order Management, e-Commerce, Logistics, Parts, Service, Brands/Marketing, and Consumer & Appliance Care (B2C) areas for the industry leaderA of globalA manufacturing and marketing of major home appliances. Kerr is chairman of the board of Meredith Corporation. He was elected chairman in January 1998, having served as president and CEO from January 1, 1997 until June 30, 2006. In 1994, Kerr was named president and COO of Meredith, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business of the company's operating groups. At that time, Kerr was also appointed as a member of the Meredith Board of Directors and a member of the Board's executive committee. Prior to that, Kerr served as president of the Meredith Magazine Group and executive vice president of the company, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of all magazine operations. Prior to joining Meredith in September of 1991, Kerr was a vice president of The New York Times Company and president of its magazine group, a position he held since 1984. Kerr has also held posts with Dillon, Read & Co., and McKinsey and Company. A native of Seattle, Kerr is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington. He earned a degree in modern history as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
