Dow Jones Description
Back in the 1920s, our grandfather Ben opened up a humble jewelry store in Seattle, Washington. One of the things the store was known for was fine quality jewelry with honest and friendly service that customers still remember today. In the 1950s, the family moved to Southern California and our father, Eugene, purchased a store in Pasadena, California, from a gentleman named William Pitt. This was the beginning of Robbins Bros. As kids, we helped with small chores in the store, all the while receiving a unique education on diamonds. And just as our grandfather believed so strongly, we were taught the meaning of customer service.

A taxing party for the big-figure birthday of William Pitt the younger's bad idea
I do not seem to have been invited to the two hundredth birthday celebrations for the Income Tax, though I have certainly chipped in my share. No doubt it was thought that I would behave badly. I certainly regard this tax as one of William Pitt the Younger's three disastrous...
That William Pitt would never have made a William Hague
According to supporters of William Hague, we have another Pitt the Younger on our hands. But could William Pitt have been another William Hague? That is, if Pitt were alive today is it likely that he would attain high office? Somehow I doubt it. For one thing his appearance would...
