Ronald Schmelzer, senior analyst and founder, is a well-known expert in the field of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, and XML-based standards. Ron has been featured in and has written for periodicals, and has spoken at numerous industry conferences and in front of some of the largest busineses in the world. Ron Schmelzer was the lead author of XML And Web Services Unleashed (SAMS 2002) as well as co-author of Service-Orient or Be Doomed (Wiley 2006) with Jason Bloomberg, due to be released in 2006. Ron has served as the chair of the RosettaNet Cluster 1 Workgroup, working group member of CPExchange, member of the UDDI advisory group, and was a member of the CompTIA Electronic Commerce Standards Board (ECSB). Prior to ZapThink, Ron was founder, CTO, and "ePostle of Partners" of ChannelWave Software, as well as founder and President of VirtuFlex Software, and founder and CEO of VirtuMall, one of the first online eCommerce sites in 1994. Ron was named "Geek of the Week" in Internet Magazine and was listed in Boston Magazine's Internet Top 40. Ron received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Balaji Polimera is a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He has more than twelve years of experience in IT consulting, software architecture, design and developing IT solutions. During his career, he played various roles including Software architect, Project manager, Designer and Developer.His areas of work include eBusiness solutions, Transaction Processing Systems. He worked extensively on various technologies including J2EE, SOA, CORBA, Messaging middle wares, TP Monitors, RDB, Unix, Window NT, Java, C++ and C. He is an IBM Certified WebSphere Studio Developer, Sun Certified Java Programmer.

Bradley is a consultant with Online Business Systems, and has extensive integration and messaging experience in the Justice and Public Safety domains. With more than a decade of IT experience, he works with organizations to develop, implement, and leverage service-orientation in the enterprise. He also has a long history in Java application design and implementation to bring practical credibility. Bradley works with EAI technologies, SOA patterns, platforms and Web Service specifications to integrate both modern and legacy systems. He has enhanced existing applications to dramatically improve performance and stability and to achieve service-orientation.

Gokul Krishna is a Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics from Government College of Technology,Coimbatore, India. He has more than fourteen years of experience in IT consulting, software architecture, design and developing IT solutions.His experience includes development of large scale enterprise applications for variety of business cases spread over multiple industry lines. He was also part of the enterprise architecture team at a large computer manufacturer and was key member to implement formal methods to capture architecture elements of various IT systems.His areas of interest include SOA, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Management, IT portfolio management and Compliance oriented architectures.

John Reynolds is an Associate Analyst at ZapThink. He has more than twenty five years of experience in software architecture and design, in developing IT solutions, and in guiding development teams.He has played key roles in the strategic enterprise adoption of SOA, and has been an evangelist for the migration to both SOA and BPM within the enterprise. John's passion for problem solving extends far beyond technical matters and into the realm of interactions between business and IT personnel. His ability to explain complex technical issues to the business owners, and to explain subtle business requirements to the technical teams has lead to greatly improved Business/IT collaboration.His areas of interest include SOA, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Management, and he is a frequent blogger at java.net. He holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.

Murray is a Senior Enterprise Architect and seasoned integration delivery consultant. He routinely leads integration projects and has played key roles in the strategic enterprise adoption of integration and SOA for several organizations, including criminal justice agencies, municipal and state/provincial governments, and healthcare and energy organizations. While taking a vendor neutral approach to solving integration challenges, Murray has delivered solutions based on multiple platforms, including XML, native Web Services, and software from Tibco, Sonic, BizTalk and Oracle. In addition to integration, Murray has applied his passion for data and business process modeling in the creation of several enterprise business intelligence solutions. These solutions include subject data marts ranging from Finance, Human Resources and Sales to Criminal Case Dispositions.

N. Shyam Sunder is a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. He has more than fourteen years of experience in IT consulting, software architecture, design and developing IT solutions. During his carrier he played various roles including IT consultant, Software architect, Project manager, Designer and Developer.His areas of work include eBusiness solutions, Unix system software, Windows NT system software, Intelligent Networks, CAD/CAM design automation and Computer Graphics. Raju Alluri is an Engineering Graduate in Electronics and communications from Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. He has more than fourteen years of experience in IT Consulting, Architecture, Design and Implementation of IT solutions. He has played various roles like the Consultant, Lead Architect, Sr Project Manager, Product Manager in his 14 years career.He has worked on product development in the areas of Image processing and geographical information systems using technologies like C, C++, VB, VC++, OLE, COM till 1997. He later shifted to the services industry and started working on the Java and J2EE technologies.

Dr. Stefan Huesemann is Senior IT Consultant with Innovation Process Technology [ipt] as well as lecturer at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. His special interests are in the field of business process management, service-oriented architectures, requirements engineering as well as project management. He has several years of experience in SOA projects. Stefan has a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. In his thesis he analyzed information sharing problems in humanitarian organizations and proposed a web-based platform for the exchange of project reports between heterogeneous information systems of independent agencies.

Todd Mackey is a Senior Technical and Integration Architect at the professional services firm Online Business Systems. As a Senior Integration Architect, he is an industry leader in Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture. As a Senior Technical Architect, he is a key leader in Network Infrastructure and Data Center Architecture. Mr. Mackey is a Licensed ZapThink Architect and holds 17 distinguished technical certifications. In addition to his technical acumen, his training in arbitration has contributed significantly to his success in delivering solutions for more than 30 substantial projects. Prior to his involvement with Online Business Systems, Todd co-founded and acted as Chief Architect for OpenSystems Development Corporation, a company specializing in research and development for process simulation modeling and delivery of engineering and business systems integration solutions. He has also published papers and delivered courses in cryptography and advanced C++.
